Man shot Multiple Times in Utica

UTICA, NY – A shooting investigation led the Utica Police and Utica Fire units to the 500 block of Kossuth Ave on Wednesday, at about 9:20 pm.

On their arrival, they encountered a victim bearing gunshot wounds to the leg and foot.

The investigation uncovered that the incident happened on the 600 block of Kossuth Ave. An unknown male reportedly approached the victim, fired multiple shots, and subsequently injured him. The victim was transported to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The Utica Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit now handles the case. In a bid to gather more evidence, they are requesting anyone with useful information to contact them.
