EAST RIVERDALE, MD — The local Police Department is investigating an incident that occurred at the Marathon Gas station on the 6800 block of Riverdale Rd.

An adult male fell victim to an assault.

He sustained gunshot wounds to his back, stomach, and leg.

Additionally, reports suggest the injured individual was subsequently struck by a car.

More information regarding his condition and potential suspects remains pending.
