Woman Sexually Assaulted Inside Brooklyn Subway Station

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying an individual connected to a sexual abuse incident.

The incident occurred on Saturday, September 2, at around 10:30 am at the Wyckoff Avenue and Jefferson Street subway station.

The victim, a 20-year-old female, was standing on the southbound “L” train platform when an unidentified male approached her from behind and forcibly pushed her against the wall. The man then grabbed her breast and fled the scene on foot. The victim declined medical attention at the scene.

The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion and build, aged between 40 to 50 years, and 5’5″ tall. He has brown short hair and was last seen wearing a black jacket, white t-shirt, tan pants, black and white sneakers, and a black hat.

The New York City Police Department is investigating the incident and asks anyone with information to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
