HARRISBURG, PA – Late Friday afternoon, a jury convicted 75-year-old Nancy Focht of first-degree murder and tampering with physical evidence for the 2018 death of her husband, David G. Focht, Sr.
She faces a mandatory life sentence without parole and will be sentenced on October 27.
Prosecutors presented evidence that Focht shot her husband in a shed outside their home on September 11, 2018.
Initially, Focht falsely claimed her husband had fired the shot.
She later confessed during an interview with investigators.
