Suspect Arrested for Vandalism at City Hall

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – City Hall on the 1300 block of Bacharach Boulevard fell victim to vandalism early on October 8 when several of its entrance windows were smashed. Atlantic City Police Department patrol officers, responding at 12:05 AM, discovered paver stones within the premises, believed to be the cause of the damage.

The surveillance team then identified a suspect from the video footage.

Later that day, at around 1:00 PM, Officer Anthony Nastasi recognized and detained Tahmira Mackey near Pennsylvania and Atlantic Avenues. Mackey, 35, of Atlantic City, who matched the suspect’s description from the video, was arrested not only in connection to the vandalism but also on several outstanding warrants.
