18-Year-Old Charged in Bronx Shooting

NEW YORK, NY – NYPD detectives investigating a September shooting have made an arrest.

The New York City Police Department issued a calll for public assistance to find an individual linked to a shooting incident in Brooklyn.

On Friday, September 1, at approximately 10:24 PM, an unknown male fired multiple shots in front of 30 East Clarke Place. He fled south on Walton Avenue on foot after the event. This male is about 5’5 tall, 180 pounds, has a light complexion, curly hair, and was dressed in a blue and green sweatshirt, black pants, and gray shoes.

No injuries were reported.

On Tuesday, October 10, Jacob Medina, an 18-year-old male from Park Avenue, New York, was arrested at 11:00 AM within the 44th Precinct. He faces charges of Attempted Murder, Criminal Possession of a Weapon, and Reckless Endangerment.
