Brick Police No-Shave November to Benefit Local Family

BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ — In a display of solidarity with cancer patients, Brick Township’s Policemen’s Benevolent Association Local #230 is participating in No Shave November. The initiative focuses on cancer awareness and fundraising by embracing hair growth, which many cancer patients lose during treatment.

Officers from PBA Local #230 are contributing the funds typically used for shaving and grooming this month to support Allie Puccio, who is enduring a rare form of Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Allie, part of the extended PBA family, is at the center of this year’s fundraising efforts, with the organization rallying under the message “Your fight is our fight.”

The initiative not only fosters community involvement but also aids in educating the public on cancer prevention and supports individuals who are currently battling the disease. The PBA’s commitment extends beyond awareness, providing tangible support for families affected by cancer.
