POINT PLEASANT, NJ – In an electrifying semifinal match, Point Pleasant Boro showcased a dominant performance defeating Cinnaminson with a score of 49-21 in the Central Jersey, Group 2 (CJG2) semifinals of the NJSIAA Tournament on Friday night. The stellar play of Jake Croce, who made history, was a highlight of the game that now propels Point Pleasant Boro into the finals with a season record of 9-1.

The match started with a bang as Point Pleasant Boro raced to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter. Matt Oliphant initiated the scoring spree with a stunning 78-yard run, followed by a 38-yard pass to Brian Simose for another touchdown. Jake Croce then contributed with a 10-yard run, painting a clear picture of Point Pleasant Boro’s offensive firepower.
