Wake County Sheriff’s Office Investigates Late-Night Shooting in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. — A shooting incident on Saturday night in Raleigh is currently under investigation by the Wake County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were dispatched to the scene in the 6000 block of Gamble Drive, near Raleigh, following reports of gunfire at around 11:35 p.m.

Upon arrival, a man was discovered with a gunshot wound. He received medical attention and was transported to the hospital; his injuries were confirmed as non-life-threatening.

As of now, there have been no arrests made in connection with the shooting.

The investigation into the shooting continues, with the Wake County Sheriff’s Office leading the inquiry. Further details will be provided as the investigation progresses.
