Snow Emergency Declared in City of Utica

UTICA, NY – The City of Utica Police Department has declared a Snow Emergency effective Saturday, January 6, 2024, starting at 10:00 p.m., in response to the anticipated snow forecast. This proactive measure is taken to ensure the safety and efficiency of snow removal and emergency services.

All vehicles must be removed from city streets by 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2024. Vehicles remaining on the streets after this time will face ticketing and towing at the owner’s expense. The Snow Emergency will be in place until further notice.

Residents are advised to comply with the emergency measures to facilitate the clearing of streets and to avoid potential penalties. The City will provide updates on the situation as it evolves, and residents are encouraged to stay informed for any changes to the Snow Emergency status.
