BRONX, NY – On Friday, the New York City Police Department reported the arrest of 41-year-old Joshua Lawyer from Bronx. The arrest, which took place at 4:35, was in connection with an assault case.
Lawyer faces two counts of assault and one count of criminal possession of a weapon.
The initial incident was reported on Friday, January 12, when a 16-year-old girl was attacked at 3777 White Plains Road.
The victim sustained serious injuries after being stabbed in the face and was later transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi in a serious but stable condition.
