UTICA, NY – A credit card theft case in Utica has led to the arrest of Andrew Burnett, a 42-year-old local resident.
The victim reported the loss of her credit card after visiting a bank in early December 2023.
She later discovered unauthorized transactions at local convenience stores. Surveillance video obtained during the investigation led to the identification of the suspect.
On Thursday, the Utica Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division located and apprehended Burnett.
Burnett faces charges of Grand Larceny in the fourth degree. The Utica Police Department asks anyone with additional information to come forward to assist in further investigation.
