Ex-Boyfriend Assaults Man After Walking in on Him and Ex in Toms River

TOMS RIVER, NJ – Toms River Police responded to an incident on North Carolina Street on the call of an assault. When officers arrived, they found that Alejandro Campos-Nieto had assaulted a man inside the home.

Upon their investigation, police learned that Campos-Nieto had walked in on his ex-girlfriend being intimate with another man. He then proceeded to assault the man by punching him in the face with a closed fist. He then proceeded to break the female victim’s phone.

The victim was granted a temporary restraining order. and speaks with members of the DVRT. Campos-Nieto was charged by officers.
