Fatal Vehicle Accicent Under Investigation in Bowie

BOWIE, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department is conducting an investigation into a fatal two-vehicle collision that occurred in the unincorporated area of Bowie on Monday. The incident claimed the life of 52-year-old Antonio Bernal Gonzalez of Alexandria, Virginia.

The collision took place on April 1, around 1:30 pm, along the 2700 block of Enterprise Road. Responding officers found Bernal Gonzalez critically injured, and he was declared deceased after being transported to a hospital. The occupants of the second vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and received medical attention.

Investigators are currently examining the circumstances that led to the vehicles colliding in the northbound lanes of Enterprise Road. The Prince George’s County Police Department urges anyone with information regarding this incident to contact their Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit.
