NEW YORK, NY – A subway worker was assaulted early Monday morning at the 242 Street and Van Cortlandt Park subway station. At approximately 3:40 AM, an unidentified female assailant approached the 44-year-old victim and sprayed her with an unknown substance while she was cleaning the station.
The victim sustained eye injuries and was transported by EMS to Allen Hospital, where she is reported to be in stable condition. The assailant fled the scene immediately following the attack.
