BRONX, NY—A 30-year-old man was fatally shot on Wednesday at approximately 6:32 PM near East 187th Street and Beaumont Avenue in the 48 Precinct. Officers found the victim, Jeffrey Lopez, with a gunshot wound to the head.
He was transported to Saint Barnabas Hospital by EMS, where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
