CHESAPEAKE, VA — A man walked into a Chesapeake ABC Store in broad daylight Monday afternoon and left with multiple bottles of liquor without paying, police said.

The theft occurred at approximately 2:35 p.m. Feb. 9 at the ABC Store located at 1434 Sams Drive. According to investigators, the suspect entered the store, selected several bottles of liquor valued at approximately $175 and exited without rendering payment.

Authorities have released an image of the suspect and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual.

The investigation remains ongoing.
