Armed Carjackers Attack Brooklyn Man in Broad Daylight, Captured on Video

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — A man was assaulted and robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight on Monday afternoon in the vicinity of Remsen Avenue and Avenue A, police said.

The incident occurred around 1:51 p.m. when two unidentified individuals jumped out of a parked blue Honda Odyssey and approached the 40-year-old male victim, according to authorities.

The attackers struck the victim in the face with a firearm before forcibly taking his personal belongings, including keys to his vehicle.

After the assault, the two suspects fled eastbound on Avenue A, driving off in both the victim’s Ford and the Honda Odyssey they arrived in. Police said a third unknown individual, who was inside the Odyssey, drove off with the suspects.

Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center. He was listed in stable condition with minor lacerations to his face.

The police are searching for two male suspects involved in the robbery. No further details have been provided on their descriptions.
