Arrest Made in Baltimore Attempted Murder Case

BALTIMORE, MD – Authorities have apprehended Travis Maynor, 44, for his involvement in a shooting incident that occurred on August 20 in the Northwest District.

The incident took place in the 4100 block of Patterson Avenue, where Maynor allegedly shot a 28-year-old male victim multiple times. Detectives identified Maynor as the shooter during their investigation and obtained an arrest warrant for him on September 4.

Maynor was located and arrested on September 17 at a residence in the 300 block of Gwynn Avenue without incident. Following his arrest, he was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder.

Initially, the shooting was reported to Northwest District officers around 10:06 p.m. on August 20. Responding officers found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds, and he was subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment.
