Police say property was taken from Prospect Street residence
WASHINGTON, DC — A man accused of entering an occupied Northwest DC home and stealing property in June has been arrested more than two months later on a DC Superior Court warrant, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
Ramon Houser Jr., 32, of no fixed address, was arrested Monday and charged with Burglary One.
The charge stems from an incident in the 3300 block of Prospect Street NW on June 16.
Police said a suspect entered the occupied residence at approximately 8 p.m.
Property was taken from inside the home before the suspect fled, according to MPD.
Police did not specify what property was stolen or disclose how the suspect allegedly entered the residence.
MPD also did not report any injuries in its announcement Tuesday.
Houser was taken into custody pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant.
The charge is an accusation, and Houser is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
