BALTIMORE, MARYLAND — A homicide on Annapolis Road has led to an arrest after one year of intensive investigative efforts.
Police received a distress call early on October 27, 2022, and discovered David Rodriguez Ramirez, 39, with critical gunshot injuries. Despite medics’ efforts, Ramirez was declared dead at the scene.
Through their investigation, Baltimore detectives identified and arrested 24-year-old Gerson Arita Diaz on November 2nd. Diaz, a Baltimore resident, has been charged with first-degree murder in connection to the fatal shooting of Ramirez.
