Man wounded in afternoon shooting inside Carver Road home

Baltimore, MD – A midafternoon shooting sent officers to a Southern District residence after a man was found wounded inside a home, marking another violent incident now under active investigation.

The shooting was reported Wednesday at approximately 3:11 p.m. in the 2700 block of Carver Road. Responding officers located an unidentified adult male victim inside a dwelling suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body.

The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. No additional injuries were reported at the scene.

Southern District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control of the investigation. Authorities have not released information about a suspect or the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
