Teen hospitalized after Northwest Baltimore shooting on Eldorado Avenue

Baltimore, MD — A 19-year-old man is recovering after being shot Friday evening in Northwest Baltimore, as detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

At around 6:22 p.m. on September 19, officers responded to the 3700 block of Eldorado Avenue following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they located the teenage victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the body. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Detectives from the Northwest District Shooting Unit were called to the scene and have taken over the investigation. The motive behind the shooting remains unknown, and no suspect description has been released at this time.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the shooting to contact investigators or submit tips anonymously through Metro Crime Stoppers.
