Bank robbery suspects arrested in Delaware

Cambridge, MD – Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a bank robbery that occurred at M&T Bank. The robbery took place on October 22.

Donald Tyrone Gross, 57, and Marlyn D. Gramjo-Gutierrez, 30, were identified as involved in the crime. The Cambridge Police Department secured arrest warrants for both individuals.

Both suspects were located in Seaford, Delaware, and are currently being held there awaiting extradition back to Maryland. Gross faces charges of robbery and theft between $1,500 and $25,000.

Gramjo-Gutierrez will face multiple charges including robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, theft within the same dollar range, and conspiracy to commit theft.

The bank robbery was reported at 11:12 a.m. when an unknown male demanded cash from a teller using a note. A tracking device placed in the money led officers to a discarded bundle of cash in the area.

Further investigation indicated the suspects may have been involved in similar robberies in nearby locations. The Cambridge Police Department is asking for community assistance in relation to this and other recent bank robberies.
