Gloucester County player strikes $1 million jackpot on Diamond Dazzler ticket

Trenton, NJ — A lucky scratch-off ticket purchased at a Gloucester County convenience store turned into a $1 million windfall last week, making one local resident the latest instant millionaire in the Garden State.

The New Jersey Lottery confirmed that a player scored the top prize on the $100 Million Diamond Dazzler Scratch-Off game after purchasing the $20 ticket at Pantry 1 Foodmart, located at 4486 Harding Highway in Newfield. The ticket, which was sold on Sept. 15, marks the first of three top prizes available in the Diamond Dazzler series.

Less than a week later, another player in Middlesex County claimed a separate six-figure prize. A $5 Bingo Times 10 Scratch-Off ticket, purchased at KM Mini Market on Suydam Street in New Brunswick, delivered a $100,000 payout. This marks the third and final top prize awarded in that game.

The New Jersey Lottery continues to generate headlines with regular big-money wins, and both winners join a growing list of players cashing in on high-stakes tickets. The agency has funneled nearly $33.7 billion back into the state since its founding in 1970, with current profits earmarked for the public employee pension system under a 30-year funding agreement passed into law in 2017.

There has been no announcement yet on whether the winning ticket holders have come forward to claim their prizes.
