Man found dead in stock room at Pentagon City mall triggers police investigation

ARLINGTON, VA – A man was found dead in a stock room at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City on Tuesday morning, prompting a response from local police and a death investigation by the county medical examiner.

Officers with the Arlington County Police Department were dispatched shortly before noon to the mall located in the 1100 block of S. Hayes Street, following a report of a cardiac arrest. When they arrived, they discovered the man deceased at the scene.

The body was located in a stock room area of the shopping center. Police say there is no indication of foul play at this time, and the death does not appear suspicious.
