Man punched in face and body during subway platform argument in the Bronx

BRONX, NY – A 69-year-old man was assaulted on a Bronx subway platform Friday morning after a verbal argument broke out when he was asked to open an emergency exit gate, according to the NYPD.

The incident occurred just after 11 a.m. on the northbound platform of the #2 train at the Westchester Avenue station, within the 40th Precinct and Transit District 12.
