MIAMI, Fla. — A 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder after the body of an unidentified man was discovered in a cooler behind a business in Miami, authorities announced Wednesday.

The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office Homicide Bureau said deputies and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel responded on March 28 at approximately 3:02 p.m. to a call about an unresponsive adult male at 10702 NW 7 Avenue. The man was found inside an exterior cooler located at the rear of the establishment.

Upon arrival, emergency crews determined the victim was deceased at the scene. His identity has not yet been confirmed, and he is described only as an adult Black male.
