BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Connecticut Lottery player in Bridgeport hit it big Monday with a $100,000 winning ticket in the state’s Cash5 drawing.

The ticket, sold at Krauszers in Bridgeport, matched all five numbers drawn on July 14 to secure the top prize. The winner has been identified as Shelley S of Bridgeport.

The Connecticut Lottery has not released the full details of the winning numbers or any additional winners for that draw.

Cash5 is a nightly draw game in Connecticut where players pick five numbers from 1 to 35. The jackpot begins at $100,000 and grows until won.

Winners are encouraged to sign the back of their ticket and contact the Connecticut Lottery for instructions on claiming their prize.
