Lucky tickets hit in Bronx and Queens as TAKE 5 winners score $9.1K each
NEW YORK, NY — Two New York Lottery players are holding winning TAKE 5 tickets worth $9,199 each after matching all five numbers in the March 26 midday drawing.
The winning tickets were sold in the Bronx and Queens, according to lottery officials.
One ticket was purchased at AL-REHMAN GROCERY & HALAL MEAT, located at 1059 Allerton Avenue in the Bronx.
The second winning ticket was sold at KRM GROCERY, located at 7503 37th Avenue in Jackson Heights.
TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a pool of one through 39, with drawings held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
Lottery officials said prizes for TAKE 5 drawings can be claimed for up to one year from the date of the drawing.
The New York Lottery contributes billions of dollars annually to support public education across the state.
