Police arrived at 640 Blake Avenue in response to a 911 call regarding a male shot within the jurisdiction of the 75 Precinct on Monday.
A 24-year-old male was found at the location with a gunshot wound to the head.
EMS rushed the victim, later identified as Abdolaye Ba of New Jersey Avenue, to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center. The young man was pronounced deceased on Thursday.
Authorities have classified the case as a homicide. Currently, there are no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing.
