Brooklyn suspect wanted after woman groped on Eastern Parkway

Brooklyn, NY – Police are searching for a man accused of forcibly touching a 19-year-old woman on a Brooklyn street late Sunday night before fleeing on foot.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:15 p.m. in the vicinity of Nostrand Avenue and Eastern Parkway, within the confines of the 71st Precinct, according to the NYPD.

Investigators said the victim was walking in the area when an unidentified individual approached her from behind and grabbed her buttocks. The suspect then ran from the scene in an unknown direction.

The woman did not report any additional injuries. Police have not released a description of the suspect but confirmed that images connected to the case were shared by NYPD Crimestoppers as part of the effort to identify him.

The investigation remains ongoing as detectives review available surveillance footage and canvass the area for additional witnesses.
