Brooklyn, NY – Police are searching for two suspects accused of robbing a 14-year-old boy at knifepoint in Bensonhurst, kicking him and stealing his motorized scooter before fleeing the scene.
The robbery occurred Monday, January 12, at approximately 4:38 p.m. near West 12 Street and Avenue P, within the confines of the NYPD 62 Precinct.
According to authorities, the teen was riding his motorized scooter when he was approached by two unidentified individuals. One of the suspects allegedly displayed a knife and kicked the victim about the body while demanding the scooter.
Police said the second suspect mounted the stolen scooter and fled northbound on Bay Parkway. The other individual ran off in an unknown direction.
The 14-year-old victim was not reported to have suffered life-threatening injuries.

The incident is being investigated by the NYPD Crimestoppers program, which is urging anyone with information to come forward.
Police have not released descriptions of the suspects. The investigation remains ongoing in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn.
