A winning lottery ticket sold at a Marlton 7-Eleven secured a $590,007 prize, highlighting continued strong participation in New Jersey Lottery games.
Trenton, New Jersey – The New Jersey Lottery announced that a Burlington County player won the $590,007 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot in Wednesday’s drawing, with the winning ticket sold at a 7-Eleven in Marlton.
Lottery officials said the ticket matched all five numbers—01, 18, 24, 28, and 35—to claim the top prize. The Bullseye number was 24 and the XTRA multiplier was 02. The winning ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven #33103, located at 320 Evesboro-Medford Road, and the retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
Multiple secondary winners also paid out
In addition to the jackpot winner, 29 players matched four of the five numbers along with the Bullseye, each earning $500 prizes. Of those winners, six opted for the XTRA feature, doubling their payouts to $1,000.
The distribution of secondary prizes reflects the layered payout structure of the Jersey Cash 5 game, which continues to draw widespread participation across the state.
Lottery officials noted that while jackpot wins capture headlines, the game consistently produces a range of smaller winners, contributing to its popularity among regular players.
Jackpot resets amid promotional boost
Following the win, the Jersey Cash 5 jackpot has been reset to $300,000 ahead of Saturday’s drawing. The reset amount is currently higher than usual due to a promotional increase that doubled the standard starting jackpot from $150,000.
The New Jersey Lottery regularly adjusts promotional structures to maintain player engagement and increase prize pools, part of broader efforts to sustain revenue streams that support state programs.
