Carjacking Suspect Apprehended in Northeast Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – The Baltimore Police Department has successfully apprehended a 35-year-old suspect involved in an armed carjacking incident. The arrest took place on June 25, 2024, around 9:20 a.m., in the 6000 block of Amberwood Road by the Warrant Apprehension Task Force along with the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force.

The suspect was wanted for an armed carjacking that occurred on April 28, 2024, in the Unit block of East 23rd Street. In addition to the carjacking warrant, the individual had four other open warrants from Baltimore City. After the arrest, the suspect was taken to the Central Booking and Intake Facility (CBIF) for further processing.
