COATESVILLE, PA — A man died after being pushed through a second-story balcony railing during an argument in Coatesville, leading to a third-degree murder charge against a 53-year-old suspect, authorities said.
Neftali Feliciano-Perez, of Coatesville, was arraigned and charged with third-degree murder, involuntary manslaughter, and related offenses in the death of Moises Galarza-Bermudez, according to the Chester County District Attorney’s Office and City of Coatesville Police Department.
Altercation turned fatal on apartment balcony
The incident unfolded Saturday around 9:51 p.m. at an apartment building along the 700 block of East Lincoln Highway.
When officers arrived, they found Galarza-Bermudez lying on the sidewalk with severe head trauma and no pulse, police said. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators determined the two men had been involved in an argument on a second-floor balcony at the victim’s residence.
According to the criminal complaint, Feliciano-Perez allegedly pushed Galarza-Bermudez into the balcony railing, causing it to break. Both men then fell to the pavement below.
Arrest made at scene, bail set at $750,000
Police located Feliciano-Perez at the scene and took him into custody as the investigation began.
He was later arraigned before Judge John Hipple and committed to Chester County Prison after failing to post $750,000 bail.

Prosecutor calls incident escalation of argument
Chester County District Attorney Christopher de Barrena-Sarobe described the case as a confrontation that escalated beyond control.
“This is the case of an altercation that got out of control,” de Barrena-Sarobe said. “Our thoughts go to Mr. Galarza-Bermudez’s friends and family during this difficult time.”
Authorities emphasized that the charges are allegations, and Feliciano-Perez is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.

The City of Coatesville Police Department is leading the investigation, with assistance from Chester County Detectives.
