PHILADELPHIA, PA – On September 21, at about 8:15 pm, a 36-year-old male became the victim of an attempted robbery.
The incident transpired on North 16th Street’s 2000 block. The Central Detective Division reports that an unknown male confronted the victim and tried to rob him.
As the two men grappled, a firearm was discharged once. No injuries resulted from the gunshot, and the assailant fled the scene without taking anything.
The suspect is described as a Black male with braided hair, dressed in black clothing over a white t-shirt.
The Philadelphia police appreciate any assistance from the public in identifying this individual.
