OLD BRIDGE TWP, NJ – A downed pole and wires closed all lanes of Route 34 early Saturday morning just south of County Route 699/Spring Hill Road.

The New Jersey Department of Transportation’s Statewide Traffic Management Center reported the incident at 7:02 a.m. and issued an update at 7:14 a.m.

Officials said both northbound and southbound lanes were closed as emergency and utility crews responded.
