Elkridge Deadly Hit-and-Run Under Investigation

ELKRIDGE, Md. — Howard County police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run collision that occurred late Friday night, leaving a pedestrian dead.

The incident took place around 9:30 p.m. on the 6200 block of Washington Boulevard, where an adult female pedestrian was struck by two vehicles while attempting to cross the street. According to police, the woman was not in a crosswalk when she was hit by a vehicle traveling south, followed by another vehicle traveling north.

Neither driver stopped after the collision. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have not yet identified the vehicles involved, and the investigation remains ongoing. Washington Boulevard was closed for approximately four hours following the incident.
