Erie County District Attorney Honored with Lifetime Membership to CCJ

BUFFALO, NY – Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn has been recognized with a lifetime membership to the Council on Criminal Justice (CCJ).

The CCJ, a nonpartisan organization headquartered in Washington, DC, is dedicated to advancing the understanding of criminal justice policy and fostering solutions to enhance safety and justice.

The Council’s membership comprises experts and influencers who shape the national conversation on criminal justice issues. These members contribute to the organization’s research and policy direction. Additionally, they may participate in independent task forces, review research, and advise on special projects.

The CCJ states that membership acknowledges the achievements of established leaders and serves as an inspiration for future criminal justice pioneers. The Council also emphasizes the importance of promoting under-represented professionals in the field.
