NYPD hunts suspect in unusual violent robbery

Brooklyn, NY — A robbery in Brooklyn took a violent turn when a 19-year-old man was slashed in the face with a scalpel before having his food stolen in the middle of the afternoon.

The incident occurred around 3:35 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, near the intersection of East 38th Street and Fillmore Avenue in the confines of the 63rd Precinct. According to police, the victim was approached by an unidentified individual who suddenly attacked him.

Authorities said the suspect used a scalpel to slash the victim in the face before forcibly taking a bag of fried chicken. The suspect then fled the scene.

The extent of the victim’s injuries has not been disclosed, and no arrests have been made.

Police have released details of the incident and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
