Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie’s attacks against former President Donald J. Trump aren’t helping him according to the latest Quinnipiac Poll. That poll shows the unpopular and boisterous former governor at just 2%.

According to the recent national poll by Quinnipiac University, support for former President Donald Trump for the 2024 Republican nomination stands at 62%, a rise from 57% in August.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis trails with 12% support, showing a decline from his 18% in August. Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy is at 6%, followed by former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley and former Vice President Mike Pence, both at 5%. South Carolina Senator Tim Scott has 3% support, while former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie holds 2%. All other listed Republican candidates receive less than 2% support.

The poll also revealed that among the voters supporting Trump, 68% are firmly set on him as their candidate, whereas 29% indicated that their choice may change depending on future developments leading up to the Republican primary.
