Pemberton Borough Police are caring for a friendly tan-and-white dog found on Elizabeth Street and are asking the public to help reunite it with its owner.
A friendly dog believed to be a Beagle or Beagle mix was found on Elizabeth Street in Pemberton Borough and is now safe at the Pemberton Borough Police Department.
The dog appears to have a short tan/light brown coat with white markings on its face, muzzle, chest, and paws, along with long floppy ears and a bright green collar or slip lead. Based on the photo, it looks like an older dog, though police have not released additional details.
Police caring for found dog
The Pemberton Borough Police Department said the dog is currently being cared for while officers work to locate its owner.
“This friendly dog was found on Elizabeth Street in Pemberton Borough,” the department said in a Facebook post. “The dog is safe and is currently being cared for at the Pemberton Borough Police Department.”
Owner asked to contact police
Anyone who owns the dog or knows who it belongs to is urged to contact the department as soon as possible.
Police said, “If you are the owner, or know who this dog belongs to, please contact the Pemberton Borough Police Department as soon as possible to help reunite them with their family.”
