Fugitive wanted on PFA violations and probation breach arrested in North Versailles

PITTSBURGH, PA — A Beechview man who had been on the run for ten days was arrested Tuesday morning in North Versailles, ending a multi-warrant search led by the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office.

Stev’Ray Norman, 28, was taken into custody just after 11:00 a.m. while working at a construction site along Lynda Lane. Detectives located Norman and arrested him without incident before transporting him to the Allegheny County Jail.

Norman had pleaded guilty in 2024 to two firearms charges and was sentenced to 11½ to 23 months in jail followed by two years of probation. On January 1, 2026, a bench warrant was issued for probation violations. Authorities say Norman was also wanted on two separate warrants for violating Protection from Abuse (PFA) orders and a third for fleeing from Pittsburgh Police as they attempted to arrest him on the PFA-related charges.

The Sheriff’s Office confirmed that information gathered earlier this week led detectives to the worksite where Norman was located.
