GEORGE COUNTY, MS. – On Thursday, June 10th, 2021, the George County Sheriff’s Office responded to calls of a disturbance at a residence in the 2200 block of Highway 63 S, in the Barton Community of George County, MS. Upon arrival, Deputies discovered a male victim and a female victim with several injuries.

The suspect, Walter Evans Brewer, Jr. (45) of Lucedale, MS, was taken into custody after witnesses confirmed that Brewer had assaulted the male victim with a vehicle, as well as assaulting the female victim.
