GREENBELT, Md. — Greenbelt police arrested a man for the second time this month in connection with a series of vandalism incidents that caused thousands of dollars in damage to homes in the Greenbelt Station community.
Police said Nghia Trong Le was charged with malicious destruction of property over $1,000 after allegedly vandalizing four homes, including two residences that were targeted multiple times.
Investigators said the incidents happened near Greenbelt Station Parkway, where the suspect allegedly threw rocks through windows before running away.
Le had previously been arrested Aug. 6 in connection with similar vandalism incidents, according to police.
Officers responded to another reported vandalism Aug. 28. Police said video provided by a resident showed a suspect throwing rocks at a window and fleeing on foot.
Officers identified the suspect as Le, located him and placed him under arrest, police said.
The combined damage from the incidents is estimated at several thousand dollars.
