Police are searching for two suspects accused of robbing a man at hammer-point before stealing his moped and cellphone in Queens.

Queens, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred Tuesday afternoon outside 95-15 77 Street in Queens.

According to the NYPD, the incident happened at approximately 4:15 p.m. when a 32-year-old man was approached by two unidentified individuals. Investigators said one of the suspects displayed a hammer before the pair forcibly stole the victim’s moped and cellphone and fled southbound on 77 Street.

Suspects fled with stolen property

Authorities said the suspects escaped with the victim’s moped and cellphone. No injuries were reported in the Crime Stoppers alert, and police have not released descriptions of the suspects.
