Detectives are investigating a late-night shooting in Linden after multiple rounds were fired toward a residence and a second home blocks away was struck by gunfire.

Linden, NJ – Linden police are investigating a shooting that occurred late Friday night after reports of gunfire near East 12th Street and South Wood Avenue. Officers responded to the area at approximately 11:40 p.m. and discovered evidence that multiple shots had been fired.

According to preliminary information released by the Linden Police Department, unknown suspects fired several rounds at a home on East 12th Street. Authorities said a second residence in the 1200 block of Woodlawn Avenue, located several blocks away, was also struck by gunfire.
