Jackson, NJ – The Jackson real estate market saw strong winter activity this week, highlighted by the sale of a four-bedroom home on 3 Glenrothes Court, which closed for $1,010,000 on February 11.
The property, built in 1996, features three baths and 2,677 square feet of living space, fetching $377 per square foot after just 13 days on the market.
The sale marks one of the highest recent transactions in the township, signaling that demand for upscale suburban homes in Ocean County remains robust despite seasonal slowdowns. Listing agent Michael Sclafani of RE/MAX Central handled the million-dollar deal.
Just a few miles away, a larger home at 14 Chesterfield Drive also sold on February 11 for $780,000. The 4,069-square-foot residence, built in 2008, includes three bedrooms and three and a half baths. Listed by Amy Faherty of Signature Realty NJ, the home sold after 46 days on the market at $192 per square foot.
Mid-range homes also moving quickly
At the more modest end of the market, 14 Elm Street sold for $535,000 on February 13. Built in 1955, the 1,684-square-foot, four-bedroom, two-bath home was listed by Troy Skodmin of RE/MAX Realty 9 and sold after only 18 days — a brisk pace for early February.
Another property at 359 Toms River Road, a three-bedroom ranch built in 1960, sold for $430,000, roughly 3% below list price, after 26 days on the market. Susan Staffordsmith of Keller Williams Shore Properties represented the listing.
Even smaller starter homes are finding buyers. A two-bedroom unit at 701 Bluebell Drive sold for $295,000, or $242 per square foot, after just six weeks on the market.
