NEW YORK, NY— Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying a female suspect involved in an assault that occurred on Tuesday, July 30, at the corner of 9th Avenue and West 34th Street.

At approximately 7:25 AM, a 28-year-old woman was attacked from behind by another woman who struck her with an unknown object, causing a small laceration on the back of her head.

The victim was promptly transported to Mount Sinai West and is reported to be in stable condition. The assailant, described as a female with a light complexion, medium build, and dark hair, aged between 20 and 30, fled the scene on foot. She was last observed wearing a black shirt, multi-colored pants, and pink shoes.

The NYPD urges anyone with information about this incident or the suspect to come forward to assist in the investigation and ensure community safety.
